Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging.

Position Summary:
Oversees Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursements, Per Diem and Trip report desk for processing and payments.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school required - College degree preferred.
  • Three years experience in accounting.
  • Valid State Driver’s License.
  • Computer experience, operate a 10 key calculator, work in an intermediate level of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Supervise a staff of two to five Accounts Payable Technicians.
