Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Develop, maintain, and track digital marketing campaigns to support Alaska USA Federal Credit Union business lines utilizing email marketing, social media, web, and digital content assets to increase brand awareness and generate leads for various business units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for day-to-day email marketing execution, including; creating campaigns, importing lists, building and scheduling emails, facilitating and tracking A/B tests, marketing automation campaigns, and reporting.
  2. Manage email campaigns from end to end, including development, execution, reporting, and providing insights for future campaign recommendations.
  3. Build and manage marketing list segmentation and assist with data cleansing projects.
  4. Responsible for monthly reporting on digital marketing activities; to include email marketing, digital marketing campaigns, and website analytics.
  5. Assist with development of email marketing roadmap and strategies to support business line objectives.
  6. Manage Alaska USA’s online reputation score, business listings and reviews in all markets in collaboration with Member Service Center staff.
  7. Assist with building and optimizing landing pages in Alaska USA’s content management system.
  8. Develop new content ideas to increase member engagement, website traffic, lead generation and support SEO efforts.
  9. Ensure accurate, timely execution of projects with a high level of responsiveness to internal stakeholders.
  10. Other duties as assigned.


Education: Bachelors degree in marketing or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Three recent years of experience in marketing with a minimum of two years in digital marketing at a corporation or agency.

Experience/Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral communication and writing skills. Proven working experience in digital marketing with demonstrable experience in email marketing campaigns. Knowledge of email marketing programs, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Strong analytical skills required; the ability to generate reports from various platforms, analyze and interpret data as necessary. Creative problem solver with experience in identifying target audiences and devising email campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate consumers. Experience in optimizing customer journeys through digital channels. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments and responsive email templates. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite tools. Experience with content management systems, preferably Episerver. Working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support email marketing. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement techniques.

Tenure: Assignment to the Digital Marketing Strategist I category 10, Digital Marketing Strategist II category 9, or Digital Marketing Strategist III category 08 will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.
