The position of 3M Alaska Sales Representative will be responsible for professional sales leadership in developing, managing and growing key customer accounts in the Construction and Home Improvement market. Includes:

* Provide professional sales leadership in developing, managing and growing key Alaska customer accounts
* Lead the sales development, growth and market penetration processes for all applicable CHIMD Key Accounts
* Lead, collect and support key market segments initiatives and related new applications to grow and accelerate new product commercialization
* Lead market penetration and commercialization tactics for new products with direct and distribution related accounts
* Develop and implement an effective interactive communications strategy to all stakeholders (3M and customers)
* Position will include sales support to other sales representatives in varying markets
* Position may include tele-sales and CRM/CSR activities
* up to 25% travel

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum High School / GED
* Knowledge of sales and customer service processes and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is preferred
* Strong communication skills - written, oral and listening
* Ability to work in an organizational structure with cross-functional teams
* Strong computer skills with Microsoft word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* Innovative, analytical and critical thinking skills (process oriented thinking and practice)
* Strong leadership and team building skills
* Career pattern of progressive growth in responsibilities
* Customer service or related business experience
