Description

Registered Nurse - Short Stay (Surgical Management Unit)

PRN - hours scheduled as needed only

PRN Applications are valid for 60 days

The Registered Nurse - Short Stay (Surgical Management Unit) assumes responsibility and accountability for clinical nursing care of preoperative patients. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree (or Diploma) in Nursing is required; a current and clear Florida Registered Nurse license is required. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience as an RN is required. Experience with admission and assessment of surgical patients preferred.

Skills/Abilitities: Organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills in detail oriented, customer focused organization are required. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to take call is required.
