Air Liquide America LP ( ALALP ) is actively seeking a Loader/Sorter. The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:
Places assets needing maintenance, painting, or RMA assets in correct storage areas.
Loads cylinders on the appropriate route/inter branch truck according to the Air Liquide safe cylinder handling and Code of Services.
Identifies ownership. Sorts assets by status (full/empty) and product, placing the assets in the correct areas.
Loads trucks in accordance with the Load Out Reports and Zone Sheets.
Reports quantities sorted and variations from schedule to Supervisor.
Notes irregularities and serial numbers.
Works with his/her team as well as with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the work process.
Maintains a clean work area as well as any other area which may be assigned.
Documents all required information on fill records and in the SCOUT system.
Report any issue that impacts or may impact safety, the environment, regulatory compliance or customer satisfaction to the Fill Plant Manager (or designee) or directly into the SmartSolve system.
Requirements:
Follow without exception Air Liquide s standard operating procedures.
Isolates cylinders and equipment for outside customers and other plant personnel in appropriate quarantine areas.
Operate in a safe manner and in accordance with Air Liquide s safety policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA and any other regulatory agency.
Attend monthly plant safety meetings.
Uses Air Liquide required PEE (Personal Protective Equipment) and cylinder handling equipment.
Communicate operational problems and delays to Fill Plant Manager immediately, to enable adjustments to production and/or customer notification.
Provide product meeting published specifications.
Work with team to achieve annual fill plant scorecard targets
Complete all training requirements identified in SmartTrain.
Discuss with manager training opportunities required for advancement.
High school diploma or GED
Read, write and speak fluent English
Physical aptitude to comply with site-specific safety rules
Forklift use certification
Knowledge and understanding of Fill Facility Manual procedures related to job functions
Experience in cylinder filling
Able to work in a flexible-schedule environment: day / stacked / night shifts
Must be able to perform light work.
Position requires walking or standing for a significant amount of time.
Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly
