HEALTH INFO MANAGEMENT SCANNER

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The HIM Scanner is responsible for the day to day scanning within the department. This includes: distribution, pick up, and scanning of paperwork that requires action; accurate and timely scanning of documents into the patient chart and tasked to providers; and scanning charts for established patients for appointments. HIM Scanner will act in accordance with HIPAA regulations and will maintain strict confidentiality according to all applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or the equivalent. Two years clerical experience required. Knowledge of medical record functions desirable. Must have the ability to organize workload and work independently. Must be accurate, versatile, and dependable. Computer skills required.

HIRING RANGE: $12.50 - $14.69/hr.
