Role Synopsis
Under direct supervision, assists with the installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in offshore and onshore oil and water wells. Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Assists with testing, installation, and pulling of downhole Electronic Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
Involves frequent travel on domestic or international assignments and time away from home, often at short notice.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of oil and gas industry.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work well and communicate well with others.
Ability to stand during majority of shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Two year Technical Degree.
Industry experience and product line training.
Other Details
This is a rotational position on the North Slope of Alaska. Work schedule is 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off with the possibility to change per company needs.
