ASSETS, INC., a non-profit organization that strives to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and/or mental illnesses is recruiting for Part Time (20-39 hrs/wk) DISHWASHER II.

This position contributes to the success of the contract by performing a variety of dishwashing and dining facility attendant tasks as specified. Responsibilities include: sweeping and mopping, dusting, scraping plates, busing tables, washing dishes, pots and pans. Food Service Sanitation knowledge, prior experience washing dishes and/or performing janitorial work strongly preferred. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications: Food Service Sanitation knowledge, prior experience washing dishes and/or performing janitorial work strongly preferred; ability to read, write and speak simple sentences; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situation with only occasional or no variables.
Must have an insured vehicle and current Alaska Driver License (with no or low points). Must provide copy of driving record, proof of insurance at time of hire. Must be able to comply with the Joint Base Elmendorf/Richardson regulations regarding transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal background check under state regulations and able to obtain security clearance to worksite for security requirements.

Pay Rate: $$11.20/hr for dishwasher and $12.24/hr for dining facility attendant.
