Job Description: Primary Functions:

Responsible for internal and external distribution of all mail, goods and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for picking up, sorting and distribution of mail, supplies and other products including negotiable items within and between departments, branches and other assigned locations including the transfer of documents to and from Micrographics in accordance with established schedules.
2. Completes assigned daily runs according to established schedules including daily delivery of posted mail to US Postal facility.
3. Assist with handling and movement of credit union equipment, furniture, supplies, etc as required.
4. Maintains vehicle according to Alaska USA Drivers Guidelines for Credit Union Vehicle use and Maintenance.
5. Assists with mail operation as required.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
1. Education - High school graduate of equivalent.
2. Experience Required - Not Applicable
3. Skills - Must be capable of lifting 70 pounds. Must have demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision. This position requires a valid driver s license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment and random drug testing. May be required to use own vehicle.
4. Tenure - Courier II, category 16, requires 12 months tenure in the Courier I position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Must possess strong knowledge of department and employee locations and driver s safety training offered by department.
