Sourdough Fuel is a division of Petro Star Inc., a subsidiary of ASRC. It operates eight gas stations in the Fairbanks / North Pole area. Five of these stations contain convenience stores with grocery, merchandise, propane and Hot Stuff Pizza franchises. Sourdough Fuel also operates the Hilltop Truck Stop, a full service restaurant, grocery store, and fuel station on the Alaskan Haul Road.

Sourdough Fuel is seeking highly motivated individuals for employment in a friendly retail environment. Brief Description

A Cashier is responsible for maintaining great customer service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting customers, product knowledge, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently.

This is not a rotational job on the North Slope. You must live in the Fairbanks area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Detailed Description

GENERAL DUTIES

Ability to operate and accurately maintain cash registers.

Sort & stock merchandise.

Provide quality customer service.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

Cash register experience preferred but will train.

Knowledge of basic math.

Customer Service experience.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Must be flexible for shifts.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.
